Summary
This article will tell you how to place a BetterButton ActiveX control inside of a Microsoft Office application. This applies to:
- Excel 97
- Excel 2000
- Word 97
- Word 2000
- Outlook 98
- Outlook 2000
Details
After installing the BetterButton ActiveX control, you need to put it in your Microsoft Office Toolbox:
- Open Excel, Word, or Outlook
- Go into the project design area (Press ALT+F11)
- Select or create a UserForm
- Select Additional Controls from the Tools menu
- Scroll down to select varBetterButton.BetterButton from the list
- Click OK
- You should now be able to see it in your toolbox:

If you don't see the toolbox, select Toolbox from the View menu.
- Click on the BetterButton icon in the toolbox.
- Draw a rectangle on the form
