Summary
This article will tell you how to place a BetterButton ActiveX control inside of your Visual Basic application.
Details
After installing the BetterButton ActiveX control, you need to put it in your Visual Basic Toolbox:
- Open Visual Basic
- Start or open a project
- Select Components from the Project menu (or press CTRL + T)
- Make sure the "Selected Items Only" checkbox is unchecked
- Scroll down to select Variad BetterButton(tm) Control 1.x from the list and check it
- Click OK
- It should now be in your VB toolbox. If you can't see your toolbox, select Toolbox from the View menu. You should now see this icon:

- Select the BetterButton icon from the toolbox and draw a rectangle on the form.
